Our Bond

Besides Yuki, Levi is the only other person who Ren completely trusts. At the time when Levi offered to help Ren, Ren already went insane from the lost of Yuki. He felt completely alone in this world, losing his mind and all the hope of ever seeing Yuki again. Levi managed to beat Ren back to his sanity, literally dragging Ren along his side. Saga was against helping Ren. Many times, he tried to persuade Levi to just leave Ren behind saying that "why should you help him? He can't even get back on his own feet to go find his lover". However, Levi continued to bring Ren along despite Saga's words. Saga was not completely wrong because Ren did not show any sign on wanting to see Yuki. He already completely gave up on everything. However, Levi did not let Ren drift alone in darkness. He was always patient with Ren telling Ren over and over again that he must not let fate decide his future, for everything that truly matters do not come easy, and it is only through our own beliefs and effort that we will be able to find them.

At last, Ren finally began to find hope again. Saga also began to sympathize with Ren. At this point on, Ren started to have trust people, especially Levi. He was never be able to do this before because of his dramatic past, being hated and abused by the people who were suppose to love him the most.

After he already found Yuki, Ren chose to remain by Levi's side along with Yuki. Both Levi and Yuki have very special places in Ren's heart.
